Lately, it’s not work that’s exhausting me—it’s everything else. Life has a way of piling things up, and even the strongest of us feel drained. But I’ve learned that pushing through without pause only leads to burnout.
So this weekend, I gave myself permission to just breathe. I wandered around the mall (even if it was just window shopping and grocery run), enjoyed an amazing seafood meal, and finished a Kdrama series. No deadlines, no pressure—just moments that filled me up again.
Rest isn’t about being lazy or giving up—it’s about making sure you have the energy to keep going. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, step back for a moment. Recharge in whatever way works for you. You’re not quitting—you’re refueling. And that makes all the difference.
