Team SariSiklab, made up of tech-savvy BS Computer Science students Bavie A. Bunyi Jr., Charlize Gian A. Belarmino, and Ravie Rafael E. Fetizanan, along with their brilliant mentor Dr. Melody R. Dimaano, nailed the third spot in the Philippine Startup Challenge 8 Regional Pitching Competition. This took place on October 10-11, 2023, at Mapua Malayan Colleges Laguna.

These rising stars, who went up against 34 other teams, have also been accepted into STEP UP (Startup-Tailored Empowerment and People-Focused Upskilling Project), a top-notch acceleration program from DICT. This program packs some serious punch with expert mentorship and a boatload of educational resources. Plus, it's all equity-free and cohort-based, making it the ultimate launchpad for our young tech geniuses!

LPU-Batangas' Team Cognitics Seizes Victory at Microsoft AI for Accessibility Hackathon

LPU-Batangas' Team Cognitics emerged victorious at the Microsoft AI for Accessibility Hackathon, winning for their application, Cognitics Coordinated Security.

The impressive team consisted of Bavie A. Bunyi Jr., Charlize Gian A. Belarmino, Elmar Johann E. Boniel, Leandre E. Basit, and Ravie Rafael E. Fetizanan, all students from the College of Computer Studies.

Competing projects were evaluated by a panel of experts based on their technical complexity, creativity, and potential impact on people with disabilities.
