If any of your tech ends up getting wet during the flooding, here’s a quick guide on what to do (and what NOT to do) to give your gear the best chance of survival:

🔌 Cut the power — Do NOT plug it in or try to charge it under any circumstances.

🔴 Power off — Shut the device down completely to prevent short circuits.

🍚 Skip the rice — Please don't put it in a bowl of rice! Rice traps destructive moisture inside and introduces tiny dust particles into the board.

💨 Air dry only — Place the device in a dry, well-ventilated space with a fan if possible.

🧰 Let Gadgetworx handle it — Once the roads are clear and it’s safe to travel, bring it by the shop.

Diagnosis: The device came in with a white screen issue affecting display color accuracy. After proper inspection and diagnostics, we identified a damaged display signal line as the cause of the problem.

Fix: Precision microsoldering was performed to restore the damaged signal line. The display was then carefully reinstalled, bonded, and tested to ensure proper color, brightness, and touch response. No guesswork only accurate diagnostics and careful repair.
