It took a while to finish this short video but am glad to be able to finish it while learning something new!

After all the hussle and bussle, I was able to successfully produce this less than 12 minutes video. Kaya watch na! 🤣

BUT let me also share with you the HOW.
It took me a total of around 16- 20 hours to produce the whole thing hahaha! The tasks were:
1. Test usage of around 5-8 free video editors until I settled for Davinci Resolve 17. Free but for intermediate users as this is different from all the rest that I tried.
2. Create a storyline from all the video clips. I had to edit from about 3-4 hours worth of video clips. Though I already knew my storyline, putting it all together in a seamless transition really takes time - around 8-10 hours for me hehe.
3. Create a voiceover script and record it.
4. Integrate the voiceover to the video.
5. Search for musical backgrounds to use. I just got it from Youtube's audio library.
6. Incorporate a background music for that added umphhhh (hopefully hahaha).
7. Test output. I even uploaded the video in YT and watched it in 3 diffferent devices (laptop, phone, tablet) only to find out that the background music is too soft. Had to research how to implement the best mix using the video editor.
8. Edit the video, reupload, retest. Thankfully, I had to reupload just once, else, I didn't have any video to upload til now hehe.
Was the 20 hours worth it? Yes. I learned a few things, especially for someone who considers herself as truly challenged when it comes to anything visual and creative. And yes, I already gave myself a pat on the back for this unbelievable milestone.
So, will I do more? Of course! I have upcoming videos lined up. Sayang ang materials and opportunity for learning. As to when? I'm not sure. It depends on how quicker I become on editing videos in the coming days. 🤣🤣🤣
Enjoy watching!
