We have visited 18 schools in Cagayan de Oro and we have validated that there is a problem in the traditional way of doing academic reports. Schools today let faculty members use the traditional method which they have to do manual collation, calculation, and copy paste a number of different excel sheets to form one report. Teachers need approximately 1-3 weeks of cramming and stress to finish all of their academic reports. Our grading platform was used by our early adopters, they are paying clients and prominent schools here in Cagayan de Oro, and they have shared a significant decrease of time to finish their academic reports with the platform we have made. This platform is called Wela School System. It is a software-cloud based grading platform where teachers only need to upload only 1 grading sheet and let Wela do their reports (internal and DepEd required reports) and grading analytics. This significantly decreased the time from 1-3 weeks to just 2 days (base from our interviews after 1 year of implementation of the platform to our client). We have 3 more clients being implemented by this platform for the year 2017-2018 totaling our student count to around 2,900 students.
