Iโ€™ve been observing flight activity in the UAE since the conflict started because my family is there waiting to fly home, and a few things really stood out..

Air traffic near Dubai looked like something out of a movie. โœˆ๏ธ Several aircraft had to circle and hold before landing due to regional tensions and reported missile activity.

Watching the flight tracks is honestly amazing, the level of pilot training and aviation technology involved is incredible. Even with possible GPS interference or sudden airspace restrictions, these aircraft can safely manage complex holding patterns in very crowded skies.

Huge respect to the pilots, air traffic controllers, and the technology that keeps hundreds of people safe in the air. What may look chaotic on the map is actually precise coordination happening in real time.

Modern aviation is amazingโ€ฆ but the humans behind it are even more impressive. ๐Ÿ‘จโ€โœˆ๏ธโœˆ๏ธ๐Ÿซก

The Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) is calling on student coders, programmers, and robotics enthusiasts to of the 5th Kibo Robot Programming Challenge (Kibo-RPC)!

Form a team of 3-8 students (elementary to graduate level) to program the free-flying robotโ€”Astrobee of the NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administrationโ€”to navigate challenges within the International Space Station.

Organized by the JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) and hosted in the Philippines by the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA), the Kibo-RPC is an educational program for students to develop and test their programming skills in solving various problems in a simulated environment.
