A CELiB is a digital library or electronic hub has a number of advantages and problems not found in a traditional library. Some of the advantages are that there are no physical limits to information storage, materials can be accessed around the clock by multiple users, and they feature efficient information retrieval mechanisms. Some of the problems unique to a digital library include the need for periodical data migration due to constant and rapid technological advancement of information technology, as well as issues concerning copyright infringement. Nevertheless, library and information professional communities are pursuing a workable model of a digital library and a number of initiatives have been made both in the public and private sectors. CELiB will be partnering Barangay to have an Electronic Library’s to there respective areas.

What is Digital Education? Digital education is the innovative incorporation of modern technology and digital tools to assist the progress of teaching and learning. It is also known as Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL), digital learning, or e-learning. CELIB will be the partner for digital Eduducation for our less fortunate students located at there own community. We push to have a Centers of Electronics Library in every Barangay/Barrios intire Country.

Digital libraries help you access the updated resources specifically with programs offers by CELiB for free with the latest technology available, the conventional libraries may fall behind in purchasing the latest editions of books, magazines, and other content resources. But digital libraries in higher education institutes or organizations can update the digital library regularly. Many publishers these days allow digital libraries to make the latest editions and magazines accessible to the readers based on the pay-as-you-read model. Hence, digital libraries located in Barangay help engage learners by providing access to the latest publications, Especially to those unfortunate students. With this new Hubs for Learning CELiB will provide the access to gain more knowledge pertaining in school activites.
