This system update strengthens screen hardware verification. After upgrading, devices with non-genuine, assembled, or third-party screens may experience severe issues such as:

• Total screen unresponsiveness

• Touch failure

• Partial touch dead zones

• Random, erratic touches/ghost touches

These problems cannot be resolved by restoring the device or restarting.

For devices already affected after the update, the only way to restore normal function is to replace the screen with an original Apple part.

Please disable automatic updates immediately to avoid rendering your device unusable.
