The company, the brainchild of Michael S. Apeles, was officially born as a web development company in April 2005 with only his old laptop connected to his school’s wi-fi connection at the hall where he usually stayed during his college days. While he was in 3rd year college, he would juggle both his schoolwork and the workload of his newly formed company. Back in the day, Wowenkho Studios provided
web sites for small groups and companies and web-based systems for bigger establishments. MIke then discovered that the demand for his photography services was growing. From the start, the company’s photography endeavors were merely an additional service packaged in his web development projects. People started to notice Michael’s output in photography as he started sharing his photos in social media channels and joining open photoshoots. Other people gained interest enough that he decided to offer photography services, particularly photoshoot sessions and event coverages, as a standalone service. Nowadays, we have decided to set aside web development and focus on our photography services, which have currently become the company's bread and butter.
