💻MACBOOK PRO M5 WATER DAMAGE REPAIR – SUCCESSFULLY RESTORED Another challenging board-level repair completed successfully!

This MacBook Pro M5 was brought to our shop after suffering from liquid (water) damage. The customer reported that the laptop was continuously auto-restarting, failing to operate normally, and showing signs of internal hardware issues.

📌 Initial Symptoms:

* Random and continuous automatic restarting

* Intermittent power and battery detection issues

* Trackpad not functioning properly

* Keyboard malfunction caused by liquid exposure

🔬 Professional Microscope Inspection

We completely disassembled the MacBook and performed a detailed microscope inspection of the logic board and trackpad assembly. This is a critical step in water-damage diagnostics because corrosion and broken lines are often invisible to the naked eye.

⚠️ What We Found

After careful tracing and measurement, we discovered multiple problems caused by the liquid damage:
🔹 Missing / broken 1.2V battery detection line This damaged line prevented proper battery communication and contributed to the restart issue.
