Over the last few days, servers across the globe have faced a massive wave of automated bot attacks. While large corporate mega-hosts often respond by locking down systems or forcing annoying up-sells, we take a different approach.

✅ Hardened administrative endpoints (xmlrpc.php and wp-login.php) against automated brute-force attacks.
✅ Cleaned up background server tasks so your processing power is saved exclusively for real, live visitors.

The result? Our server CPU load split in half, leaving more speed, power, and stability for your websites.

A critical security update has been issued to all our servers related to the Linux Kernel vulnerability CVE-2026-31431 (Copy Fail).

All our servers are now protected against this vulnerability.

The Cloudflare error yesterday that took half the internet down was due to a bad SQL query filling space and crashing services left and right. You heard that right. A bad SQL query!

Not a sudden spike in traffic, not hacking attemtps, not a massive DDoS, just an SQL query.

Cloudflare suffered a service outage on November 18, 2025. The outage was triggered by a bug in generation logic for a Bot Management feature file causing many Cloudflare services to be affected.

Quick update: DNS issues

Some of you may have noticed websites loading slowly earlier today. This was caused by an outage with our previous DNS provider (Quad9). Nothing was broken on your sites, it was just a connection lookup issue upstream.

We’ve already switched our servers over to Cloudflare DNS, which gives us faster and more stable routing worldwide. Everything is running normally again.

We’re happy to share that our new Dallas server is now up and running.

This machine is a Dual Intel Xeon Gold 6138 system with 256 GB of DDR4 memory, two 1.6TB enterprise-grade NVMe drives, and a 10 Gbit network connection. Compared to our previous generation servers (Ryzen 5 5600 with 64 GB RAM and 1 Gbit networking), this is a significant step forward in both processing power and bandwidth.

We take a simple approach to infrastructure: keep servers fresh, fast, and reliable. That’s why we aim to introduce new hardware every two years. It’s not about chasing specs, it’s about making sure your sites continue to run smoothly without bottlenecks.

This Dallas system is also our second Xeon Gold 6138 deployment, joining its twin in New York. With this addition, we’re continuing to grow our capacity and improve performance across locations.

The new server is open and ready to welcome new customers.
