International ICT Conference 2011 (MECIT) Or is it that ICT could be the ray of hope in today’s world?

Middle East College of Information Technology-(MECIT), Sultanate of Oman, housed in Knowledge Oasis Muscat is organising an International Conference on “Applied Information and Communications Technology” on 22-23 March 2011. The theme of the International Conference is: “Applied Information and Communications Technology (ICT)”

The targeted Sub themes are:
> ICT and Organisations: The implications

of ICT on organisations - structures, processes and strategies.
> ICT and Education : The effects of ICT on learning experience and use of ICT in schools and higher education institutions.
> ICT and Healthcare : The impact of process-oriented ICT, communication technologies and availability of databases on healthcare sector.
> ICT and Entertainment : The potential and implications of ICT on entertainment sector.
> ICT and Tourism : The constraints and potential of ICT in tourism industry.
> ICT and Agriculture: The implications of ICT in the agriculture sector.
> ICT and Environment: Does ICT have an adverse impact on the environment?
