It has been a great first four months of the year, with removing over 50tonnes of e-waste our of Whangarei already.

There is approximately 100,000 tonnes of e-waste exported out of NZ every year. Todays pickup from the following local businesses have has helped reduce this figure, and enabled e-waste to be disposed of and not into landfill.

At Cocurullo's we love to support our community, that is why we have teamed up with Elimination, and are picking up North Haven Hospice e-waste every Friday for free.

Like this and other businesses and organisations around Whangarei, who have taken the opportunity, has helped reduced their waste bills, by eliminating the bulky e-waste products, and making sure they are disposed of correctly.

There is something satisfying and relaxing, in watching IT devices being shreaded. It does not matter how many times you watch it too.

As stated previously, we have developed the best way of dealing with all things IT when they get past their usable state. It is not recycling, not repurposing, not putting into landfil nor sending overseas.

It is called Elimination, returning the ewaste back into their raw products, the final cycle of any IT device.

Call us, if you have ewaste (TVs, Computers, Laptops, Screens, Mobile phones, Tablets, keyboards, etc..) that you dispose of and we can organise to collect.
