There’s something that hits different about sitting in a room full of women who have decided to chase their dreams.
Not because their lives are easy.
But because they’re not.
Everyone in that room has a story.
A mountain of challenges.
Responsibilities.
Doubt.
Things happening behind closed doors that nobody else sees.
And yet… they showed up.
They’re building.
They’re learning.
They’re taking risks.
They’re backing themselves.
And honestly? It was incredibly inspiring.
I laughed.
I cried.
I connected.
I left feeling recharged in a way I didn’t realise I needed.
And as someone who works alone, THIS is why getting yourself into rooms like this matters.
You can spend weeks in your own little bubble, staring at your laptop, questioning everything you’re doing.
Then you walk into a room full of women who get it
and suddenly your perspective shifts.
Your energy comes back.
Your ideas start flowing.
You remember why you started.
I took away A LOT from yesterday, but these are the ones I’m carrying with me
→ Confidence is non-negotiable.
Stop waiting for permission to believe in yourself.
→ Visibility is vital.
If people don’t know you exist, they can’t choose you.
→ Storytelling creates connection.
People connect with people, not polished perfection.
→ Lead with empathy.
You never really know what someone is carrying behind closed doors.
→ Stop waiting for perfect.
Sometimes you just need to push play and figure it out as you go.
And maybe that’s the biggest reminder of all
You don’t have to have it all figured out to move forward.
You just have to be brave enough to show up.
Yesterday, I did.
And I’m so glad I did. 🖤
