Congratulations Richard. We're so proud to have been a part of your incredible accomplishment.

📖 A very special milestone for Richard! 🎉

After a couple of years of putting pen to paper Richard has finished his book on the history of Waiotahi.

Last night, we celebrated with a special book launch, where Richard was incredibly proud and happy to share his work with his friends and family.

It’s a detailed record of the people, stories and history that have helped shape Waiotahi over the years, and something that will be treasured for generations to come. ❤️

A huge congratulations, Richard, on this amazing achievement! 👏📚

And thank you to everyone who came along last night to celebrate this special milestone with him. It was a awesome evening and a fitting way to mark the completion of such a meaningful project.

Congratulations Richard — what an achievement! 🥂🎉

Important Information for Microsoft Publisher Users

Microsoft Publisher will reach end of life in October 2026. After this date, the application will no longer receive updates or support.

If your business, club, school, or organisation has documents saved in Publisher format (.pub), now is a good time to review them and convert any important files to PDF.

Why PDF?
Easy to open on almost any device
No Microsoft Publisher required
Ideal for archiving and sharing documents
Helps ensure long-term access to important files

How to convert a Publisher file
Simply open the file in Publisher and select:
File > Export > Create PDF/XPS
or
File > Save As > PDF

Taking a few minutes to convert key files now can help prevent access issues in the future and ensure important documents remain available long after Publisher is retired.

If you have older Publisher files containing newsletters, flyers, forms, or business documents, it's worth preserving them in a format that will be widely supported for years to come.
