When a campaign carries a message as important as Daffodil Day, getting the design right is only part of the job.
The real responsibility is helping tell a story that inspires awareness, support and action.
This year’s campaign refreshed the creative to reflect the Cancer Society’s updated brand while meeting the needs of multiple stakeholders, partners and channels. Across print, newspapers, billboards and digital media, every touchpoint worked together to deliver a clear, consistent message.
At the heart of the campaign is a real story. Featured in the campaign are Helene and Corey Barron, a Wānaka couple whose lives have been touched by cancer. Their image and story help put a human face to an issue that affects 1 in 3 New Zealanders.
We're proud to have played a small part in helping bring this important campaign to life. Daffodil Day is more than a fundraising campaign. It's a reminder of the support, care and research that help ensure no one faces cancer alone.
