Here’s a discreet surround sound installation using ceiling and wall speakers. I took advantage of the angled ceiling to aim the sounds towards the seats. Nobody has done 6ch surround for a long time and this is no exception; the third speaker at the back is actually the subwoofer with the large ugly box hidden up in the ceiling (and isolated to prevent vibrations). The covers are also spray painted to match the ceiling as closely as possible.

(Before and After) I fixed up a competitor’s job over the past few days. Every part of the system had a problem- alarm going off at night, internet dropping out, cameras not showing an image, TV sound dropping out, gates not closing, equipment overheating, a blown speaker, and lots of other issues driving client crazy.

Your bedroom vs. The bedroom she told you not to worry about... That’s a 102inch screen that disappears into the ceiling. Watch it from bed, OR you can watch from the shower! (Yes there are speakers in the shower so you can hear it too). This is just one room in a huge job we’ve done last month.

Last week I swapped a client’s floor-standing speakers for in-walls, and apart from the tidy look they also gained a huge amount of space in their small lounge. For this system I used Sunfire CRW-2 because they have a ribbon tweeter and closed-back design to keep noise in the next room to a minimum. An REL subwoofer fills in the low frequencies, so they have crisp highs, clear mids, and powerful lows. To finish I sprayed the covers to the exact colour as the wall so they’re as tidy as can be.
