📸 🎞️ Behind the photo scenes at the Kowhai Festival! 📸🎞️

What a day! We took two different film cameras along to the festival and captured the day the old-school way. 📸

Come with us as we show you how to load the film, what happens during developing, and the editing process before those memories become beautiful photographs.

There’s something pretty special about film — you never quite know what you’ve captured until it’s developed! ❤️

Make sure you watch right to the end to see your memories captured at the Kowhai festival for 2026. 👩👨👧👶

Leanne I want to thank you so much for all your help and guidance in getting the Ahuroa Fire Brigade photos done. You went beyond that call of duty, coming in on your day off to make sure everything was ready for our prize giving night.
The Araparea Community Catchnent Group presented one of the framed photos to the Ahuroa Fire Brigade in appreciation of their help and support towards the group and our community.

Once again you are a legend. Thank you so much.

Jo want to do a special gift for her Auntie, She found a wedding photo, when her auntie got married 50 years ago. We scanned and recoloured and bought it back to life. Jo was so happy with the results we achieved for her, that it is now on its way to the UK to her Auntie.
We are so glad you love the photo Jo and we hope your Auntie loves it too.
