It’s been a big week at Weka Web — I’m excited to share that two new client sites have officially launched.

Wanaka Wood Floors
Designed and built by us, with beautifully crafted content by Karen Melville Ives. I’m especially happy with the custom sticky header and the use of varied text sizes to highlight key phrases throughout the site. Metalworks Wanaka
A bold ecommerce site designed by the talented AJ from Left Creative, and built by Weka Web. This project grew bigger than expected, but it’s incredibly satisfying to see it live and looking sharp. https://metalworkswanaka.co.nz/

Two months ago, my son Cody officially launched Pineapple Jobs – a web-app he created and designed, proudly built by Weka Web. 🍍✨

Pineapple Jobs is all about connecting keen teens with odd jobs in their local community. And what a start it’s had:

- Over 50 jobs posted
- Nearly 100 users already signed up in Hawea and Wānaka
- Cody even received a write-up in the Wānaka Sun and ODT!

We’re thrilled to see the momentum building and are constantly working behind the scenes to improve the site and add new features. This is just the beginning – Pineapple Jobs is growing into something really special for our community.

✨ It’s been a busy few weeks here at Weka Web, with not one but two new websites going live!

🔌 First up, Ezi-Breeze — an awesome Canterbury team of electricians, air‑conditioning experts, and support stars who take real pride in doing things properly. They were such a pleasure to collaborate with: responsive, professional, and genuinely easy to work alongside. https://ezibreeze.co.nz/

✈️ Then came the New Zealand Air Show Association — a super fun project to design and build, featuring spectacular photos that really bring their story to life. We've been busy bees! This week, we're thrilled to announce the launch of two brand new websites for some truly fantastic clients:

First up, HDW Builders! We loved working with this Hawea-based business who are experts in sustainable, high-performance homes. Their new website showcases their commitment to quality and incorporates the stunning new branding by Left Creative. Check it out: https://hdwbuilders.nz/

I'm delighted to say we launched two new websites last week:

The first was for Wanaka Homestead, a luxurious lodge and cottage complex set in a picturesque location near the iconic Wanaka Tree. Their previous website had a performance score of F (29%, GTMetrix) and suffered from slow loading speeds. By rebuilding it on Elementor, optimizing critical features, and hosting it on our servers, we elevated its performance to a remarkable A grade (98%), vastly enhancing its speed and functionality.

The second website we launched is for Peak Experience, a team of Hawea-based mountain specialists offering services like mountaineering, ski guiding, and avalanche education. Their stunning alpine photography made this website a joy to create.

Cutting it fine, but our final site of the year has just gone live! Upper Clutha Tracks Trust. https://uppercluthatrackstrust.org.nz/ So great working with Dave and Lucy on this, and what a great job the UCTT does creating access to all the best spots of the Upper Clutha!
