Hi
I have been working with the Author of WUHU software, and have added support for his Wunderground Style json file creation that gets served via his RTL Server, download at https://www.wxforum.net/wu_hu/RTL%20Server%20and%20Example%20JSON%20files.zip . Set up in WD is easy, latest update, see under setup, advanced/misc, WU RTL Server tab. Set your station name (e.g like how your wunderground station name is), and your location name, and then set enable. The files that are created are shown in a list, so that you can copy into the settings options file for the RTL server program (which is launched via a DOS terminal with a @ path to that settings file -> all explained in the PDF provided with the download. The RTL Server program creates a port forward IP address, which any software that supports using wunderground as a data source , to set to use that base URL . Those software though need to have ability added to customise the base URL (instead of default https://api.weather.com it would be e,g http://68.36.28.42:8080 ). Latest WD update has this ability. The idea is then any software can be mixed and matched, even mobile apps that use Wunderground as a data source could be used this way, sharing data via the RTL Server. Note that an API key just needs to be e.g test. Anyway, its BETA at this stage, but would be interested how it goes :)
