This is a scam I got from IRD.

Things to look out for in a scam email:
1. Recipient's email is not displayed or incorrect
2. Spelling errors, or Grammar errors
3. No letter head or fake looking
4. Has a "click" button in blue
5. E-mail Address is not a correct IRD email

Another Scam i seem to get.

There are many different types of scams, and they have become more sophisticated over time.

If someone contacts you unexpectedly – whether over the phone, through the post, by email, on a website, in person or on social media – always consider the possibility that it may be a scam.

Scammers go to great lengths to appear trustworthy but there are things you can do to recognise and take action against scams. If it’s possible you are being scammed, figure out what’s happening and what you can do about it.

Be Safe, If your not shore Call Mike at Craig Computers or contact your bank by ringing your bank from your banks web sight number.

When I get a scam email, I always check the senders email address to see if it looks genuine.
This email says it has come from PAYPAL but if you look at their email it should end with .com.
You can see with this one it ends with -iex243.com which is the scams email. You can google the email to see what info comes up about it.
What they want you to do is click on the link in the email they have sent you. DON’T. just delete it.
If you’re not sure ring the company yourself, get the phone number from their genuine web site not from the email sent to you or from the person that call you on the phone.
Please Do not get sucked in when someone calls you to say they are from spark or any other provider.
They will try and tell you that you have something wrong with your computer. Let me tell you there is no way
They will know if there is something wrong with your computer even if you are having problem with your computer unless you tell them. They will try and sell you Something or try and talk you into letting them get access to your back account. (DO NOT SAVE YOUR BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER AND PASSWORD) in chrome or Firefox or explorer.

Phone scammers posing as police con hundreds of NZers.

"A police officer will never ask for your bank details over the phone or ask you to transfer money. If you receive a call of this nature, hang up immediately."
