In these days of artificial intelligence, real people in our lives matter more than ever. And connections are key. That is why we are thrilled to have Ray Freeman from Protech Solutions Ltd in our BNI Elite Tauranga networking group.
Ray brings with him an absolute wealth of experience. Starting off in security in Hamilton, Ray then based himself out of Brisbane and Sydney where some roles included running large teams and portfolios across Australia’s states and territories. He has more recently moved back to NZ working in Auckland where he was involved in some large projects and has now settled back here in the Bay of Plenty where he has started Protech Integrated Security Solutions.
When asked his secret to success Ray cited his personalised, yet professional level of service and always assuming ultimate accountability for everything he does in life. He aims to leave a positive influence on everyone he meets and has very strong principles when it comes to doing business.
Ray gave us an insight into his life as a family man, and also on how providing security morphed into his new business model, which also provides commercial cleaning and facilities management consultancy services.
It all came down to client demand for his management of large projects and events and his ability to get the job done when it needs to be done! Whether it’s cleaning up after natural disasters (think Aussie bushfires and floods, to prominent high-rise buildings damaged by hail) polishing of large shopping mall floors, to managing security and clean-ups for huge events Ray is renowned for his reliability under pressure.

Ray is currently building a new client base right here in Tauranga, as well as Rotorua, Hamilton, and Auckland, and is ideally looking to talk with large commercial property owners and retail businesses who require any of the following services; Retail Loss Prevention, Property Static Guarding, Event Security, Concierge Services, CCTV Operation and Access Control, and can also provide Commercial Cleaning services.
