Personally I’m not a fan for a variety of reasons. But I do understand why people might be tempted to take over the designing of their tattoos using ai. But unfortunately ai design more often than not has many issues, for example, extra detail that shouldn’t be there. Like too many fingers or limbs on figures, distorted imagery that when inspected closer just doesn’t make sense and generally give people unrealistic expectations.
If you’re hard set on using a design made by chat gtp or some other ai app, you’ll need to find what’s called a tattoo applicator. But if you want tattoo art with a human experience from a tattoo artist who has spent years or even decades drawing, designing, painting and creating., then walk in the door and start the conversation. There’s so many incredibly talented artists in the tattoo industry right now all they need to create a great tattoo is a great idea.
It may not be a surprise AI’s ever-expanding reach has crept into the tattooing world, but how does it sit with different artists and their styles?
