Given our 20 years in Maclean St It is time to close the shop and operate as a mobile service to support our valued customers.

Hi Everybody, With the move to level 3 we will be open for in store repairs from the 28th of April under strict social distancing rules. The area at the front of the shop is customer zone with one customer at a time. Unfortunately we are still unable to do house calls and the Internet Cafe will remain closed.

Due to the Covid 19 lockdown the shop will be closed from 26th of March for approximately 4 weeks. I will still be available for telephone and remote support. Call me on 021 1822 753. Physical work can be arranged by appointment and the required distancing protocols etc. Most of our parts suppliers are still operating so we will be able to source replacement parts.

Data Loss and Recovery
Loss of data can have a devastating effect. While doing regular backups is the best solution if you don’t have a backup all might not be lost. Xpress Net can recover lost data from Hard drives (internal & external) Solid state drives, flash drives and memory cards.
• Deleted files. (empty recycle bin)
• Sudden partition loss.
• Systematic file system damage. e.g. Format.
• Sustained file system damage. e.g. New operating system installed.
Simply put, if the drive is not suffering from physical damage we can recover most data. It is important, for the best success rate, that when you discover data is missing you stop using the computer or drive. Once the data is overwritten it is very much harder to recover.
