⚠️ 𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐎𝐑𝐀 𝐁𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆: 𝐕𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐌 & 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐅𝐓 ⚠️
At around 3:27am this morning, Monday 28 September, our Create Design Studio print shop on High Street was broken into.
The person in the first video kicked in our front door, smashing the lock and damaging the door and frame to gain entry. He had a quick look around before making a pretty quick exit and setting off the alarm.
Thankfully, nothing was taken. We're a cashless business and don't keep cash on the premises, which is also stated on our signage. So if cash was what he was looking for, he's caused a fair bit of damage for absolutely nothing.
What makes this more concerning is that this wasn't the first visit. We have footage from 5:44am on Sunday 20 September, just over a week earlier, which shows the same person around our premises. We've included this as the second video.
Both visits happened in the early hours of the morning, so we'd encourage other businesses around High Street and central Rangiora to check their cameras and see if they've noticed any similar or suspicious activity.
We've passed the footage and information on to Police
It's pretty disappointing to see this happening in our town. Beyond the cost and unnecessary damage, it's also unsettling for our staff knowing someone has forced their way into their workplace during the night.

People doing this need to know that businesses are watching. Cameras are everywhere, footage adds up, and every attempt leaves another piece of evidence behind 👀📹
