Milford Sound has had a hold on me since 2015. For me it was the year the cheesy mandatory yoga pose headstand photo tradition started (yes it's still going, no I won't be stopped). Every time I go back it's got rain, rainbows, at least one cheeky kea eyeing up something on the car while we wait for the homer tunnel to let us through, and that same "how is this real" feeling.
This print design is me trying to hold onto that feeling. Hand-drawn from directly above, loosely tracing the fiord from the Tasman Sea in to where the mountains close around the water - with all the little details I love in there too: the airport, the ferry terminal, and the road in.
If you've stood at that terminal waiting for your boat, flown in low over the peaks, or you're still dreaming of either - this one's for you.
