🏆🇳🇿 WELCOME HOME, RICHARD!🏏

We’re thrilled to welcome our founder, Richard Calkin, back to New Zealand after an incredible few weeks representing New Zealand at the 2026 IMC Over 60s Cricket World Cup in Canada.

And what a tournament it was!

The NZ team went undefeated throughout the tournament, winning all six of their pool matches before beating Pakistan in a nail-biting semi-final to book their place in the World Cup final.

One of the highlights was an absolute thriller against England in the pool stages, with NZ holding their nerve to win by just 4 runs. England then went on to beat Australia in their semi-final, setting up a rematch with NZ in the final.

Unfortunately, the final was washed out without a ball being bowled - meaning New Zealand and England were declared joint World Cup champions! 🏆🏆

Richard made some great contributions along the way, including an impressive 64 against India and 39 against Scotland.

We’re incredibly proud to have Richard representing New Zealand on the world stage!

Congratulations Richard and the entire NZ Over 60s team. What an achievement! 🇳🇿👏

Now, after a very successful tour… we’re expecting him back at his desk! 😉
