September just happens to be our birthday month. 🍋

So, we’ll be celebrating all month long.

Expect a few throwbacks, a few stories, a few surprises and probably a little bit of nonsense along the way.

You never get a second chance at the first 60 seconds.

For three years, we've created the opening titles for the FANZ Franchise Association of New Zealand Inc. National Conference, setting the theme and energy before a single word is spoken from the stage.

It might only be a minute, but it's one of the most important minutes of the event. It's where the vision comes to life, the energy builds, and the audience connects with what's to come.

The best events don't start with words. They start with a feeling. Often that feeling is created when brand, story and motion work as one.

Legal milestones don’t have to be boring. 😉

We’ve spent the past few months working with Anna Ryan Barrister on a special video celebrating the launch of her new website and the 40th anniversary of the Commerce Act and Fair Trading Act.

Our brief? Find a way to bring the 1980s back to life.

So we dusted off the VHS tapes, cranked up the nostalgia and celebrated some of our favourite Kiwi ‘80s icons along the way. 📼⚡

Because great stories deserve more than just a date on a timeline.

It was a pretty cool feeling seeing the first issue of LIVE Magazine roll off the press with a little bit of Smokeylemon squeezed into every page. 🍋

This magazine isn't about filling pages, it's about telling stories worth reading. The kind that make you pause, smile, learn something new, or see your community a little differently. Luckily, Taranaki isn't short on good stories. Or good people.

It was our pleasure to bring these stories to life through our design, and to have Hannah helping with writing and editor duties as well. We hope you enjoyed it, and we can't wait for the next one!

A couple of days in Hanmer, a room full of legends, and plenty of good chat!

Mandy headed south last week to share practical marketing ideas and digital know-how with MIZIN teams from around New Zealand, giving them tools they can take home from their conference and put into action in their own businesses.
