We have served Hawke’s Bay customers for 28 years. We remain locally owned, locally operated and headquartered in Napier. Through Engage Technology and Gecko, we provide business IT, complex networking solutions, cybersecurity, fibre, voice, mobile, rural wireless and residential technology support.
We are growing, and we are currently looking for experienced Account Managers, Customer Relationship Managers and Business Development Managers who know how to earn trust, retain customers and turn good conversations into long-term commercial relationships.
If you have worked at NOW, you will already understand the value of genuine local service. You have helped build strong customer loyalty over many years, and that experience matters to us. This advertisement is open to everyone with the right capability, but we particularly welcome conversations with NOW people affected by the closure.
Here's the opportunity.
Depending on your background, you could be responsible for:
🦎Managing and growing a portfolio of business or residential customers
🦎Helping customers transition their fibre, voice and technology services
🦎Winning new business through trusted relationships and local networks
🦎Identifying opportunities across broadband, mobile, voice, managed IT and cybersecurity
🦎Working with our technical teams to deliver practical, well-supported solutions
🦎Retaining the personal service customers expect from a local provider
You will not be limited to selling one or two products. If a customer needs fibre, mobile, phones, complex networking solutions, cybersecurity or full IT support, we can help them under one locally accountable group.

Experience in telecommunications, account management, customer retention or business development
A strong record of building trusted customer relationships
Commercial confidence without the hard-sell approach
Good local knowledge and established community or business networks
Clear communication and reliable follow-through
A genuine desire to keep supporting Hawke’s Bay customers
