We’ve partnered with Victoria Farmers Federation to support farmers across the state!

Looking forward to working with their team and meeting members across the region 🤝.

We are very pleased to announce a new partnership with Farm Focus !

Farm Focus is farm financial management software designed for farmers and growers and with over 10,000 customers across Australia and New Zealand their team knows what matters out on the paddock and when it comes to the books. It’s an all-in-one solution that covers everything from day-to-day bookkeeping, BAS and payroll through to farm-built budgeting and reports. Farm Focus also works with your rural accountant and advisor, so you and your team always see the same up-to-date numbers.

You’ll see the Farm Focus team with us around Victoria at upcoming events and VFF members get three months of Farm Focus free. Log in to the VFF Member Portal for details.

Congratulations to Willie and Jen Forbes of Turnberry Farm, Alfredton, on winning the 2026 Wairarapa Sheep & Beef Farm Business of the Year 👏.

As proud sponsors of the award, and with Willie and Jen being Farm Focus customers, it’s great to have been part of their journey through the ups and downs that farming brings!

Our very own Annie Cates went along to the field day to see their incredible operation first-hand. It was a real showcase of the hard work behind Turnberry, from Willie and Jen to their on-farm team, business partners and wider professional team.

Please join us in giving them a round of applause!

It’s World Mental Health Day, and we know the pressures of farming don’t stay out in the paddock.

Sometimes you just need to talk to someone who gets it. Rural Support Trust (in Aotearoa) and Rural Aid (in Australia) are run by people who know the land and know how quickly things can stack up, because they’ve been there themselves. Check on your mates and check on yourself.

If you need a yarn with someone, give these folks a call:

🇦🇺 Rural Aid: 1300 175 594 | ruralaid.org.au

While spring is flat out for farmers right now it was great to see a full house at our AI webinar last week with so many of you giving up your lunch break to join us!

Rachel Durie from Perrin Ag Consultants Ltd joined our Education lead, Annie Cates, to talk about how farmers are already using AI on farm, and why plenty are still holding off.

Missed it? The full session is on YouTube now. Grab a cuppa and find out:
- The everyday ways farmers are using AI right now (including one operations manager whose phone has gone very quiet)
- Why trust is the biggest hurdle, and where to start if you're unsure
- How Farm Assistant uses your own numbers inside Farm Focus to save you time on the books
