Malo lava Aliepata Itupa i Luga! 💛🏉

Congratulations on proudly carrying the name of Aliepata at the Marist 7s and representing BluNet's internet, WiFi, and technology services with pride.

A special acknowledgement to Head Coach Togia Alefaio Vaisuai, management, and the entire squad. While the results may not always tell the full story, what stood out was the heart, courage, and determination shown by a very young team. Many of these players are still in college or have only recently left school, yet they stepped onto the field against seasoned and physically developed teams from Samoa and Fiji.

That takes courage.

Every successful rugby journey starts somewhere, and for many of these young men, this tournament was their first taste of top-level competition. There is no better way to learn than being thrown straight into the fire and testing yourselves against the best.

Keep your heads high. The experience gained this weekend will be invaluable for the seasons ahead. This is not the end of the journey, it is only the beginning.

The future is bright for Aliepata Itupa i Luga.

A huge week of production work alongside our incredible partners at Kingdom Production and Samoa Video Pro. The old Samoan saying rings true: "E leai lava se isi e tu fa'amauga" — no one stands alone. As the saying goes, "No man is an island."

There is simply no way we could have delivered the scale of coverage during Samoa's 64th Independence celebrations without the support, dedication, and teamwork of our production partners. Fa'afetai tele lava for standing shoulder to shoulder with us throughout the week.

Together, we helped showcase the beauty, pride, culture, and spirit of Samoa to million of viewers globally, while encouraging our people to reconnect, refresh, and rediscover home.

BluwaveTV is growing, and we are now looking for a Live Streaming & Production Assistant to join our team in Manukau, Auckland.

This is an opportunity for someone passionate about media, livestreaming, digital production, and storytelling to be part of one of the Pacific’s growing digital media platforms.

The role includes livestream operations, camera and audio setup, production support, and assisting with digital content delivery across our programmes and platforms.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional, mature in thinking, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment. Experience with vMix, OBS, camera and audio equipment, and basic graphic design is preferred. Ability to speak Samoan is an advantage, but not essential.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 8:00pm (30 hours per week).
