22 would be Immortals stepped into Game Roost today for our cEDH Tournament, and after 4 Swiss Rounds and a Final Four match, Matthew Davie, playing Kenrith, the Returned King, once again put up his name on the Bushido Wall of Legends!

Amazing job, Matthew!!! Rounding up our Top 4, Daniel, playing Yarok and who got first seat going in to the Final match, took silver. Sam, joining us for his first Immortal tournament, took 3rd place playing Ishai/Rograkh, while Tiago, playing Glarb, took fourth.

Thank you very much to all our players who joined us, and for your continued support. We hope you had a wonderful time today competing against other cEDH players!

What a beautiful and fun-filled Saturday!!! 🥰🥰🥰

The Roost was a hive of busy bee activity as we had our WH40K 11th Edition Launch Party with all 4 WH tables full, learning to play and having games of the new edition the whole day! Over a dozen players came in and learned the new rules and tried out their lists, with new players eager to jump into the hobby!

On the TCG side, more than 30 Pokémon trainers of all ages piled into the store and had pack battles, traded, learned and just had an overall great time!

Other players from One Piece and Gundam had their hobby day throughout, and there were even some boardgame action towards the evening!

Thanks to everyone who came to the Roost yesterday and made it such a wonderful atmosphere, we hope you had a great time and hope to see you all again soon!!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Super players joined us tonight for our Prerelease of MTG Marvel Super Heroes!!! And what a night!

The 2HG format was well received as well as the new set in general as players unleashed the full power (and sometimes overpowered) of the cards they pulled!

Huge congratulations to Kit and Erik, as well as Dirk and Kurt for finishing undefeated, and to Sam and Lachlan for rounding up our top 3!

But the real winners of the night were Ronan, James and Dirk, who pulled Mind Stones from their packs, with Dirk pulling 2, from both his prize packs!!! 😍😍😍

From earth-shaking battles to universe-defining conflicts, the Marvel Super Heroes Standard Showdown is your chance to forge your legend worthy of the ages. Gather your allies, harness your power, and prepare for an unforgettable clash of champions!

Standard Showdown is a weekly Standard play program, where players will gather to face off in tournaments using their Standard decks and walk away with awesome promos for top players every week!

With the recent expansion of the Standard rotation, you have more time to refine your decks and enjoy your collections—and with Standard Showdown, you’ll have more opportunities to test your mettle against other competitive Standard players in the community!

DATES: This is a 6-week showdown tournament happening on THURSDAYS at 7pm with the below dates:

FORMAT: Standard. Swiss

ENTRY: $15 (includes1x Booster Pack)

PRIZES
WEEKLY: Winner promo for top player/s each week

Dungeons & Dragons School Holiday Program – July2026

Our school holiday D&D days are back this July at Game Roost — something we’ve been running since the early days, and always one of our favourite ways to spend the holidays 😊 PLUS, as part of our School Holiday Program, we're adding a Special Day of POKÉMON Learn To Play, happening on the 18th July, Saturday!

Join us for a full day of adventure with Dungeons & Dragons, where kids can dive into storytelling, build their own characters, and go on epic quests together! For POKÉMON enthusiasts, get to open a League Battle Box and an Ascended Heroes Mini Tin, create a deck or two and battle other would be POKÉMON trainers!

For many of our young adventurers, it’s something they look forward to each holidays — a chance to jump back in, see familiar faces, and continue the adventures with their holiday crew.

Dates: July 8, 9, 15, 16 & 18
Time: 9AM – 3PM (10am-1pm - POKÉMON)
Cost: $60 per day ($80 for POKÉMON, includes a Battle Box and an Ascended Heroes Mini Tin)

Perfect for beginners and young adventurers aged 7+ — no experience needed!!
It’s a great mix of creativity, teamwork, and imagination, all in a relaxed and welcoming space. We’ll guide them through everything, so they can just jump in and have fun.
