Every fish has the potential to feed more people. That's the idea behind the Kai Ika Project, run by LegaSea and Papatūānuku Kōkiri Marae, turning fish heads and frames once considered waste into food for communities across New Zealand.

Since it started, more than 665,000 kilograms of fish parts have been repurposed and redistributed, free of charge, to marae, community groups, and families.

Behind that work is a small team managing a lot of moving parts.

Linda Jaworski decorates cakes for a living. She didn't sign up to become a payroll expert too, but for years she was doing both.

It's not a mistake. It's the transition to Payday Super.

From 1 July, super is due every payday, not quarterly. But your June quarter super is still due 28 July under the old system. Two bills. Same month. One-off.
