๐จ Quick heads-up before you finish your coffee, Bay of Plenty! โ
Microsoft just rolled out security fixes for Edge (built on Chromium), and this isn't just routine housekeeping. One of the vulnerabilities patched has already been exploited in the wild, which in plain English means: baddies were already using it before the fix landed. ๐ฌ
The pain point? Most of us click "remind me later" on browser updates about... always. Life's busy, we get it! But an out-of-date browser is basically leaving a window unlocked while you're at work; convenient for you, very convenient for cybercriminals too.
The good news? This one's an easy fix:
1๏ธโฃ Open Edge
2๏ธโฃ Click the three dots (โฏ) โ Help and feedback โ About Microsoft Edge
3๏ธโฃ Let it auto-update (it usually does this on its own โ but don't ignore that "restart to update" prompt!)
So quick, your coffee's still hot. โฑ๏ธ
Not sure if your business's devices are all patched and protected? That's exactly the kind of thing we love sorting out, so you can get back to running your business instead of babysitting update notifications.
๐ Give Click Quick a shout; we'll make sure your systems are locked up tighter than Nana's biscuit tin. ๐ช
