What's the solution?
Invest in comprehensive training programs
Prioritize user adoption over mere features
Embrace change management practices

Cybersecurity threats are evolving rapidly.

The two most common threats you need to know about are malware and ransomware. While both are harmful, they operate a bit differently.

Malware is a general term for any malicious software. Ransomware is a specific type of malware that holds your data for ransom.

The key differences:

Goal: Malware aims to disrupt or steal, ransomware demands payment.

Impact: Malware varies in severity, ransomware immediately halts operations.

Delivery: Malware uses various methods, ransomware often uses targeted phishing attacks.

Here are some key ways you can protect yourself:

‣ Keeping software updated
‣ Using strong, unique passwords
‣ Backing up data regularly
‣ Implementing strong security measures

Backing up your data means creating a duplicate copy to use if the original is lost or damaged. You can store backups on devices like external hard drives or in the cloud, ensuring that your important information remains secure.

Here are some best practices for maintaining a secure data backup:

• Implement Encryption: Encryption makes your data unreadable to hackers, keeping it secure.
