The biggest myth about refurbished? That you can tell.

Kylie's Lenovo ThinkBook Yoga 2-in-1 went through the full hungryPC treatment in our Hamilton workshop, teardown, deep clean and a 48 hour stress test, before heading to Wanganui with its touchscreen and stylus ready to go. What arrived looked and felt factory fresh.

Refurbished done properly impresses even the pros, because there is no tougher critic than another tech.

Chris ordered a corporate-grade HP EliteBook x360 with an 11th Gen i7 and a touchscreen. Before it left our Hamilton workshop it was torn down, deep cleaned and stress tested for a full 48 hours. Then it sailed over to Waiheke Island, where Chris's own computer guy came away impressed while transferring data across from the old laptop.

Three days from order to delivery, and up and running within the hour. That is the whole point of buying a machine that is already set up.

Roy went for an ex-lease HP EliteDesk desktop with an 8th Gen i5 and 16GB of RAM, plus a brand new 24.5 inch MSI monitor, a keyboard and mouse set and Microsoft Office, all in one order. Everything left our Hamilton workshop tested, cleaned and ready to plug in, which is why the setup at his end in Tauranga took an hour rather than an afternoon.
