Featured on RNZ Morning Business News this morning with Jeffrey Halley, testbed continues to gain traction.
The segment focused on a major challenge across large roading and infrastructure projects where engineers can spend hours working through and interpreting large volumes of structural, pavement and geotechnical verification records.
As Jeremy Hughes explained, the purpose of testbed is to help manage risk and reduce manual efforts from half a day down to minutes. “As they’re building the expressway or road, it’s about making sure that the quality is being maintained and, [with testbed], it lets everyone who needs to know be aware of the current situation.”
testbed gives engineers, contractors and asset owners a clearer view of what is happening across a project while construction is underway, making it easier to identify where quality issues may be emerging and act before they become bigger problems.
It is great to see the work getting some national coverage, particularly as we’re already seeing interest in testbed from Australia.
Have a listen beginning at the 3:12 mark.
