Mahli came to us through her school for some design and marketing work experience, getting a behind-the-scenes look at agency life and spending time with the team.

She’s been an absolute pleasure to have around, and we’ve loved having her with us.

The team is so excited to welcome Mila to Firebrand as our 2026 design intern.

Joining us from the Otago Polytechnic Communication Design course, Mila will spend the next 12 weeks in the studio, working alongside our design team across a range of client projects.

We love giving emerging creatives the opportunity to experience agency life, and can't wait to see Mila grow, learn, and share her ideas over the coming months!

Last Friday, we celebrated IWD at the always fabulous Zonta Club of Metropolitan Dunedin, New Zealand International Women’s Day Breakfast, hosted and sponsored by Grand Casino

The highlight of the morning was the inspiring panel featuring Professor Reremoana (Moana) Theodore, Caitlin MacRae, and Mayor Sophie Barker.

Each shared thoughtful insights and powerful perspectives on leadership, community, and driving meaningful change for women and girls. Feeling inspired and grateful to be part of such an incredible community supporting women and girls. 💜
