I am now offering a new service. Converting video tapes to digital, i can put them on cd/dvd but you will need to provide your own. Save your old home movies and put them on a USB or hard drive so you can watch them again. Currently charging $10 a video tape, please provide your own USB or hdd to transfer video to😃

so just thought id point out that this is my main mode of transportation hence why I'm limiting the area I'm working in. all the people whose houses I've come to seem surprised by the fact that i get there by bike. i can not drive i have never been able to i don't particularly care to learn but am being pressured to do so in order to do the work i love (fixing computers)

for those of you who don't know how your computer works this is a CPU sitting on its heatsink this is the brains of a computer. the heat sink is there to keep it cool as it heats up very quickly, without the heat sink it could break in seconds of you starting up your computer

this nasty looking pile of dust is a small amount of what I took out of a computer that had not been cleaned for many years, if you own a desktop computer and you have not taken it into a shop or had it cleaned out in the past few years chances are high that this is inside your computer

so prices are as follows:
initial assessment (inc 1 hr) $35
hour IT support $25
data transfers $15 per hdd/ssd
Data recovery $15 per hdd

additional charges for things like thermal paste and compressed air (which costs $20 a can) may be required for cleaning a computer

So due to popular demand ive started up a page for ppl to join so you can message me if you would like repairs and ill also sometimes put up pics ive taken of computers ive worked on (with the owners permission of course) showing what I did and why your desktop computer should be cleaned at least once every 2 years!!
