Here is a lovely Quad 405 with a failed output stage, plus it gets new mains filter electro's to boot and some nice speaker binding posts. 😉

I have been repairing Yamaha integrated amps for over 30 years, which is helpful as some faults would be a hair pulling experience without knowing where to look. This amp was entering dc protect mode, and like most is prone to leaking/ failing electrocaps in the diff amp stages. This cap was not a dead short but 680ohms so slowly leaked dc across it and after a couple of hrs would trip the protection circuits.

I see my fair share of tube/valve radios and here is a non working Astor. Cleaned up really nicely and after a recap and new rectifier tube it sings again. After an IF alignment it's sensitivity was remarkable.

Rats oh my... here we have a Technics SA-T670 receiver with a pair of Wharfedale E50 speakers. The condition of these units was truely terrible after spending years shut away in a garage. Rats had a field day with both amp and speakers. A huge amount of time and effort to bring them back. The E50's were gutted and everything was replaced as not one driver or crossover was salavagable. The cabinets got a light sand and a few coats of Antique Walnut.
The result was worthwhile 👍

Here is the sibling of an earlier Accuphase M-60 poweramp. ( the customer brought the earlier rebuilt M-60 in together with the sibling as he wanted the same things done lol ).
Matched output pairs and drivers, diff amp circuits etc etc... you get the drift 😄

Here we have a Leak Delta 30 which had a multitude of problems. My customer was very attached to it so was willing to invest his $ in a rebuild. The results were worth it. 😉
