Va**ng in NZ schools is declining, but the problem hasn't disappeared.

The latest ASH Year 10 survey shows regular va**ng among 14–15-year-olds has dropped to 11.2%, down from a peak of 20.2% in 2021. Encouraging progress, but schools still face challenges managing va**ng in bathrooms, changing rooms and other difficult-to-supervise areas.

V**e detection technology is one way schools can take a more proactive approach, providing real-time alerts so staff can respond quickly, without compromising student privacy.
