Lighting up Sugarloaf in Kordia colours to mark 60 years of transmission back in October. A unique project to be part of, marking a significant milestone with a clean, coordinated lighting solution visible across Christchurch .

In December, TES once again supported Lakes Festival with the delivery and integration of key technical infrastructure across Hagley Park.

Our scope included Lighting, LED screen, FX, crowd barrier, power distribution, and the B Stage platform and roof — all delivered as a cohesive solution to ensure reliable performance and efficient operation throughout the event.

This integrated approach ensured a smooth delivery across all technical aspects of the festival.

In July we supplied full production for the Brain Tree Ball at Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre.

A 20m x 4m 2.9mm Absen LED wall took centre stage, creating a bold and dynamic backdrop that anchored the evening. Driven by our Barco E2 Media Server and coupled with an Adamson Line Array delivering clear and balanced audio, the production brought every moment to life.

In November we supplied full Audio, Broadcast, and LED Screen Services for the St Andrew's College 2024 Prizegiving. After the success of the 2023 "Stairway to Heaven" music number, the music facility had planned an even bigger production for this years version, a rendition of Coldplays "Viva La Vida". We supported this with a full ADAMSON line array deployment, with over 100ch of audio split three ways to accomodate FOH, Monitors and Broadcast mixes. Our Absen 3.9mm LED Screen provided the perfect backdrop for the OB Truck to feed live pictures too, backed up by our new 99x HD Box lenses and supported by the StAC student tech crew.

Another year of full design and supply for Mayhem Festival at Wolfbrook Arena. This years design included three concentric circle trusses, framed with diagonal angled trusses downstage and LED Screen & Ladders upstage and our brand new MA Lighting International Full Size on control. We also supplied 270 degrees of Adamson Systems Engineering APAC S10 Line Array coverage, 4 x 33w RGB Lasers, Flames, CO2, Rigging, 64m2 Absen LED & Crowd Barrier. Thanks to SUB180 for having us onboard again and to Vantage for the photos.

In May we supplied full production for the Safety Culture conference dinner in the Christchurch Botanic Gardens. This included a path of over 60 Astera tubes, more than 100 outdoor LED Fixtures, our Adamson Systems Engineering APAC S10 PA system on the band stage with a moving head lighting rig and our LED bud light through the Element Tipis setup. It was great to work with White Tie Catering NZ once again to deliver this event, and showcase what is possible in this space.
