With Scout, going ashore doesn’t have to mean losing sight of your boat.

Once Anchor Watch is armed on your Scout, simply scan the QR code in your Anchor app and keep an eye on your boat from your phone, tablet or laptop. See your boat’s position over satellite imagery, anchor distance, swing and alarm circles, wind and depth under keel, all from wherever you are.

Keeping an eye on changing wind conditions while you’re away can also be important for meeting your boat insurance requirements.

No phone app. No account. Just a simple way to stay connected to your boat while you’re ashore.

Every boat keeps a log. We'd like to read yours.

We're starting The Scout Logbook: real passages, the anchorages you found, the people you met and the days you'll still be talking about years from now.

Want your voyage in the log? Just send us a few lines answering these four questions:

📍 Where were you, and where were you headed?
🌊 What's one moment from that trip you won't forget?
🤝 Who did you meet along the way?
📸 Have you got a photo from that day?

Email your answers and a photo or two to [email protected]. We look forward to reading your log entry.

The chart marks the wreck. Satellite imagery shows you what’s actually there.

Slide between the two in Scout and see the difference for yourself.

The Whitsundays aren’t as thoroughly surveyed as you might think.

Chart coverage varies across this popular cruising destination, with some areas marked as unsurveyed.

Comparing charts with current imagery helps reveal those gaps and gives you a clearer picture of what’s around you before you arrive.

Vanua Balavu, Fiji.

Limestone, jungle, and water you can read from the deck.

The chart gives this bay a depth. It doesn't give you a place to drop.

⛵ One Scout. Two views.

At the helm when you need it. Turn it around, settle into the cockpit, and keep an eye on your journey while you relax.

We love seeing how our customers make Scout work for the way they actually spend time onboard.

Thanks for sharing this setup with us Jamie (SV Beech House)

🗺️ Electronic Navigational Charts are coming to Scout

We’re currently testing ENC charts in Scout, giving you the option to view electronic navigational charts alongside satellite imagery.

When enabled, head to Navigation → Basemap → Siitech Marine ENC, then use the slider to blend between the two.

It’s another step towards making Scout an even more useful navigation tool onboard.

Remember to make sure you are running the latest version of Polaris OS! This feature is currently in Beta while we continue testing and refining the experience.
