I had choir practice over the weekend and our incredibly talented director (is that what you call the person leading a choir?) talked to us about what it means to sing in a group. It is quite different from a solo performance. You have to tune in with the others. She said to imagine the entire group being a single performer. We all together form one unified whole.
There is something special about being part of a group achieving a common goal together. Yes, there are harmonies. The highs, the lows, the mids. So groups within the group. And there are solos. But essentially, we all are perceived as a unit.
In a way branding is very similar to a choir. All elements work together. They all have slightly different roles. They all bring something unique to the group. They all have to pull their weight. And sometimes one or a smaller group has to work in isolation. But all the elements together form the full picture.
Consider every element that is part of your brand. Not just the obvious ones. Looking at you logo!
Would you like to find out if your brand is performing in harmony or if one, two or more elements are slightly offbeat? Reach out and book a call.
