You'll walk away with either your landing page set up and live on Rocketspark, or a Mailchimp sign-up link ready for your bio and website. Either way, your free Mailchimp account will be ready to go, with a clear path to start growing your list without the tech headaches. You set the pace, build it live in the room with hands-on help, or follow along with your workbook and finish it up over the next couple of days.

One of my long term monthly clients - Claire Waterworth from www.nakedaesthetics.co.nz is a registered nurse injector and skincare expert, and she wanted her site to do more than just showcase her treatments. Long term, she wanted to sell the products she uses in her skin treatments too, so her clients could keep buying from her between appointments.

We added e-commerce to her site to make that happen.

When we caught up last week, she was buzzing. Her first product sale had just come through, and here's the bit that made us both grin: it wasn't an existing client. It was someone who found her through a Google search and ordered directly from the site.

That's the whole point of a website that's actually working for you. It brings in the people you haven't met yet.

We keep doing the small monthly things that build her organic search, so the site keeps working long after the initial build is done.

It was great to work with Liz Cammock, Couples Counselling Christchurch. When Liz and I connected she had originally started her website on . Chrissie from divinewellbeing.co.nz just sent me some lovely new products to try and I'm really excited to set these live on her website along with her new facial range of massages under Ocean Spa. Another piece and another tool as we continue to work on her growth strategy.

Time. Budget. The too hard basket. All the reasons a website update keeps getting pushed to "someday."
