Sustainability in Action 🌱

This afternoon, we welcomed students from AUT - Auckland University of Technology to the FUJIFILM Business Innovation New Zealand office for a sustainability workshop.

During the session, students learnt about the sustainability of our devices, the steps we take to reduce environmental impact, and how we refurbish used devices to give them a second life and keep valuable resources in circulation.

A huge thank you to the AUT students for their enthusiasm, engagement, and willingness to learn more about FBNZ and the ways we're doing our bit for the planet. Together, every small action can make a big difference. 🌏♻️

When we launched the Revoria Press SC285 and EC2100, we wanted to do more than introduce new production technology — we wanted to demonstrate the possibilities it unlocked.

That idea became the Festival of Five Colours, a campaign inspired by Japan’s Cherry Blossom Festival and built around the creative potential of five-colour digital print, including pink toner.

As part of the promotion, our team (Natasha Poznanovic, Glen Greenhill and Chris Cordes) created a beautifully considered direct mail piece that brought the concept to life. The piece included an origami kit printed using specialty toners — pink, gold, silver, white and clear — turning the promotion into something tactile, memorable and distinctly Fujifilm.

The origami kit went on to win a Gold Medal at this year's Pride in Print awards, a fantastic recognition of the thought, print quality and finishing that went into the campaign.

The campaign also included a presentation box containing chopsticks. The box was printed on the Acuity Print 20 and cut on an iEcho cutting table, with the foam insert for the chopsticks also cut on the same table. That piece was recognised with a Highly Commended award.
A great example of how print, finishing, embellishment and creative concept can come together to create something customers want to keep — and judges want to recognise.

We're live at the 2026 SBM Conference at Tākina, Wellington! 🎉

It’s been fantastic connecting with school business managers from across Aotearoa and learning more about the opportunities and challenges facing the education sector.

A big highlight has been the shuffleboard table, it's great to see so many competitive delegates coming back to get the top spot on the leaderboard. It was also great hearing from our very own Wayne Ebert.

If you're attending the conference, be sure to stop by and say hello—we'd love to chat about how FUJIFILM Business Innovation can support your school’s goals.

We’re proud to share that FUJIFILM Business Innovation New Zealand was awarded a medal at the recent Pride in Print Awards 2026!

The recognition was for our customer Christmas tree card — a piece created by Glen Greenhill to showcase how print, finishing, creativity and digital cutting can come together to create something memorable.

At first glance, it arrived as a beautifully printed Christmas card in a specially printed envelope. But the real surprise was inside: a printed Christmas tree and base that customers could pull out, assemble and display.

The card was printed on a Fujifilm Acuity Prime 20, delivering the colour, detail and finish needed for a premium festive piece. The Christmas tree components, base and envelope were then cut on an iEcho cutting table, turning the printed sheet into a precise, interactive object.

That combination is what made the work stand out. The concept was simple, engaging and customer-focused; the print had to be sharp and consistent across multiple elements; and the digital cutting had to be accurate enough for the tree to pull out cleanly, assemble easily and sit securely on its base. Every part of the production had to work together.

Receiving a Pride in Print medal for this work is a fantastic recognition of the craft behind the piece. Not just the print quality, but the creativity, finishing, and precision that transformed a Christmas card into something customers could build, keep and enjoy.

Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this project to life, and to all the entrants and winners who were recognised at this year’s Pride in Print Awards.

“What’s the biggest frustration with your meeting rooms today?”

That question sparked some great discussion at our Connected Workspaces session in Tauranga.

Across the room, the challenges were familiar
• Meetings starting late
• Inconsistent room setups
• Too much reliance on IT support

Later, we heard from Leanne Watson from Realty Services, who shared their experience of working with us to implement Microsoft Teams Rooms across their branch offices in Waikato, and the difference it has made to meeting consistency and day‑to‑day collaboration.

We wrapped up the session with a quiz, which kept the energy high and conversations flowing.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us, and to our partners Yealink and the Microsoft Teams Rooms specialists from Ingram Micro for helping bring the session to life.

If those meeting challenges sound familiar, reach out to the Connected Workspaces team to learn how we can help you overcome them.

“Meetings shouldn’t start with 10 minutes of troubleshooting.”

That was the starting point for our Connected Workspaces session in Wellington last week. It was great to bring customers together to explore how organisations are improving hybrid meetings with Microsoft Teams Rooms and integrated collaboration solutions. From live demos to open discussions, a common theme emerged - teams want meeting rooms that are simple, consistent and just work.

We wrapped things up with a quiz, which definitely brought out a competitive side across the room.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to our partners Yealink and the Microsoft Teams Rooms team at Ingram Micro for their support and insights.

If your meeting rooms still require setup and troubleshooting, it may be time for a different approach. Get in touch with our team to learn more.

We're thrilled to welcome Titin, an AUT master's student, and Anisha, a year 13 student, onsite today for our AUT - Auckland University of Technology Shadow a Leader Day.

This is a great initiative allowing the next generation of leaders to see what life in a dynamic, busy organisation is like, how decisions are made and what goes on behind the scenes.

We have a jam-packed day in store for them. They'll join meetings held by David Jupe, our Managing Director, as well as other members of the FBNZ leadership team, along with our workshop, warehouse, and showroom teams.

It'll be a busy day but, hopefully, a rewarding one.
