Finding the bit of audio you need shouldn’t mean retrieving the whole file first.

2wcom Systems GmbH now supports TAMS, or Time Addressable Media Storage, across its hardware and MoIN software platform.

TAMS allows applications to access media according to its position in time, making it possible to retrieve specific sections of audio quickly from environments such as S3 and cloud storage.

For broadcasters working with increasingly IP and cloud-based infrastructure, it’s another interesting step away from traditional file-based workflows and towards faster, more flexible access to media.

When thousands of people arrive at a major sporting event, public 5G networks can get very busy, very quickly. That’s not ideal when your production cameras are relying on the same network.

Vislink's DOME takes a different approach, creating a dedicated private 5G network for live production.

It gives production teams their own managed wireless infrastructure for applications such as roaming cameras, body cameras, behind-the-scenes coverage, and other production feeds where mobility matters.
