Here's a quick update prepared for the steam ship William C. Daldy. It's a fantastic coincidence that she gains a new lease on life exactly 90 years after she was launched — and the change to renewable fuel has been a couple of years in the making, so yesterday was a milestone indeed for the ship. Expect to see more updates on the vessel as we try and build a new audience for the ship after the COVID calamity. More than any other factors, the future of the ship depends on it's public profile, drawing volunteers and passengers (a percentage of who end up volunteering!) to the ship.

Anthropomorphic AI is at a point now where even in Vogue standards of reproduction, nobody twigged. Ive seen AI “models” popping up with increasing regularity, and most people cant spot the difference. What this means for the industry I have no idea. Key will be understanding how ready people are to engage with something that literally is just a figment of someone’s imagination. It will be interesting to gauge the response to this issue of Vogue

Stock has landed! Every now and again you get to do something that really matters. Graeme's book landed today — it's literally the book you didn't know you need, until you read it! Graeme is probably the most persistent and determined advocate for the rights of New Zealanders, successfully mounting challenges up and down the system, exposing "the system" for what it really is. It's a story that is both chilling, and at the same time heartwarming. What Graeme has to overcome to do what he does is something the rest of us can only imagine — but he does it! Queens all of them — the final four from last night's Miss Earth 2025 presentation. This annual pageant represents the culmination of a lot of work, from the contestants, from pageant staff (including me), makeup artists, friends and family. This years' field was amazing — some phenomenal transformations amongst the contestants, with outstanding results.

Now there are hours and hours of video from the livestream we ran, and hundreds of still images like this one to sort through.
