Friends, don't let friends use Aramex New Zealand for parcel delivery. The courier has had Mel's package in his van for 4+ days now without delivery. When calling the call centre, they make little to no effort to actually find out why the package hasn't been delivered, saying only that the courier didn't provide a reason. Most courier companies say they will deliver within 1 or 2 days. Usually the next business day, before 5pm to residential locations. Apparently not Aramex.
This is unacceptable. Completely unacceptable. It is absolutely my intention that if the package doesn't arrive by end of business today, I will be taking this issue to a higher cause. When I asked to file a complaint against the courier, the man on the line just told me I could do that through the feedback form on the website.
No. When I'm talking to a human, even though he was clearly not in NZ, I expect that they will be the one to take the details of the complaint and escalate it to the appropriate persons or departments within the company.
Aramex are by far the worst courier company in this city. I have never had a good experience with them yet. Fastway was a lot better. Seems like the culture pervasive in Aussie got imported into NZ when they moved here too.
And yeah, I think I might have a case here..... Especially given we live less than 20 minutes drive (in traffic) from the Auckland depot.
