We will have a special introductory price of $299+gst NZD, please note we have tried to keep the price down to a minimum however the pro5 includes more components and additional features not found in the pro3/4. This design is also extremely clean in terms of harmonic products.

The new NRG Pro5 prototype with a minimum of 5watts across the band. Frequency steps of 50khz. The final design will be ready for production in just a few weeks. Additional features will include a pll fine tune control and audio/deviation response adjustment - this gives best possible stereo separation when feeding in digitally generated composite baseband, eg using StereoTool. The loop filter has also been configured for a slow lock time in order to eliminate any low frequency audio distortion and deviation overshoot, this stops the PLL trying to correct the bass audio.

Tested the frequency response of the pira deviation meter today. Several test tones were used, these calculated at frequencies according to the bessel null to give 75khz deviation. The bessel null is where all modulation power is in the sidebands and is a very accurate way of setting deviation on transmitters/testing deviation meters etc... using test tones

The PLL Pro5 will be here soon, new features include a display and a minimum of 5 watts output power. Frequency selection is via push buttons with no other adjustments necessary. The pcb will be a whole lot smaller too.
